83rd B-P GUILD of Canada (Owasco)
Have you completed your Woodbadge training and recieved your beads?
Would you like to attend Gilwell Reunion annually, but not be actively registered with Scouts Canada?
Will you soon be ending your service in a Colony, Pack, Troop, Company, Crew, Support Team, or Committee?
Have you enjoyed your nights with a Scouters' Club or an Old Wolves' Club?
Do you find you are now in a Crew of soon-to-be overage Rovers?
Have you enjoyed the fellowship that Scouting brought into your life?
Do you really not want to end the fun and enjoyment you have had with the kind of people that are attracted to the Scouting program?
Do you want to continue to offer your services to Scouting in a less demanding way?
B-P Guild members are mostly former Scout and Guide leaders who, while no longer active at the grass roots level of scouting/guiding, wish to continue in a social and community service capacity. They are likely to be older adults who have a desire to continue supporting the Principles of Scouting and Guiding but at arms-length from local scouting and guiding groups. The members of the Owasco B-P Guild invite you to join those of us who want to remain in the Scouting family and those of us who want to remain Gilwellians but do not currently have a continuously active role in the Scouting program. (Contact the Guild Master for a B-P Guild registration form). The Owasco B-P Guild was chartered in July, 2007.
The principal function of the Owasco B-P Guild is to allow non-active Scouters to attend the annual Gilwell Reunion as part of the Owasco contingent. They can also offer service to Scouting in general, socialize and have fun!
Consider joining the Owasco B-P Guild. Come back to the Scouting/Guiding family.
